Props are a theaters’ repertory – their repertory to describe and explain the world. They can be allegories and symbols at the same time, they are tools in the best sense of the word. And they are an integral part of our competition entry for the new corporate design of Leipzigs city theatre. A fresh but understated new color concept and an elaborate type system join forces for a compelling and flexible identity.

Every programme features one allegoric icon that is then used throughout all printed material ranging from short notes to posters. The seasonal programme then would show all icons of the premieres planned for the current season on the cover.
